Questions about the directory

Short answers. If yours is not here, write us.

How do I get listed as an evaluator?

Use the contact form. Say you are a practice, which state you work in, which credential you hold, and which evaluations you do. We look at each listing before it goes up. We will write back by email.

How do I contact an evaluator?

Open their profile and use Contact now. That note goes to the practice, not to us. Use the contact form only for the directory itself: a missing practice, a correction, or a question about the site. Browse the directory.

Are listings endorsements?

No. Listings are informational. We do not rank practices. Confirm current credentials and what a given practice will put in writing. For the titles themselves, see who writes these evaluations.

I found an error, or my listing is wrong

Use the contact form. Include the practice name and what needs to change. We read every message. Replies usually come within two business days.

Which states do you list?

Texas, California, Louisiana, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. The Virginia filter also includes DC and Maryland practices. State-by-state explainers are in the guides.

Do you book the appointment?

No. Parents write the evaluator from the profile. We are not the practice and we do not schedule testing.

Is this legal advice?

No. The guides are parent explainers. Special-education rights depend on your facts and your district.
